Abbreviated as
ICE, an
XML-based standard
protocol for content
syndication over the
Internet. The protocol uses XML
meta tags to define the
format of content transaction messages sent between
servers. The syndicated content is typically a
download that is automatically transmitted for an agreed-upon price. Because an ICE server is often integrated with a
content management system, neither the supplier or content recipient needs to be concerned with manually formatting the syndicated data.
